I made 36 potholders using 1,296 cotton loops (36 per piece) + lots of embroidery thread to complete this project for the 36 Days of Type challenge along with many other creators. Instead of a digital design approach, I wanted to select a medium that was done by hand to reduce screen time. Upon completion, a tapestry of all letters and numbers were sewn together for display.
